Orlando
was incorporated as a town in 1875.
The Kindred were among those pushing to make this an area for
them. The wealthy were
already headed this way for their Winter Park
and some advantageous Kindred were traveling with them to take advantage
of the prestigious vitae that came with the wealthy.
The Invictus and the Lancea Sanctum extended their influence over
the area and slowly they spread outward until they were in control of
the area known as Central Florida.
The two covenants traded princes every twenty years.
Alas being such a large area they continually lost
control of the outer areas of the domain to those looking to make names
for themselves. Carthians
and unaligned started to pressure the outlying areas.
Then when the Dragons made it to
the area, in the early nineteenth century, they came with numbers and
settled in Orlando. Then in
the mid nineteen sixties the head of the Dragons,
Medion Shands, rose up and took the reigns of control.
Medion knew the problems that the Invictus and Sanctum had had
while they ruled this area, Medion decided to break the area up into
four Barons under his control.
He gave the areas of Polk and Sumter counties to an Elder Gangrel
by the name of (INSERT NAME).
Then he let the Invictus choose someone to control the North
Eastern area of Central Florida, they chose
(INSERT NAME). Upon advice
from a trusted advisor Medion gave the South Eastern Barony to the
Lance.
